Where It All Began
Photography first sparked for Becky in her childhood, watching her mother document the world with a camera in hand. As the youngest of three, Becky was naturally the observer, quietly noticing the details that others might miss: the way light hits a person’s face or the simple beauty of hands working to prepare a dinner meal. She wanted to freeze moments in time. It was this curiosity that eventually led her to pick up a camera of her own.
Born in Chicago and eventually studying Psychology and Business at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, Becky was drawn to the art and the technical aspects of photography as well as how people interacted with each other and the world around them. For a photojournalism assignment, she started her journey documenting a solo train ride from Galesburg to Chicago, with a borrowed Cannon PowerShot in hand. That simple experience marked the beginning of a lifelong relationship with the craft.
A Journey of Discovery
For nearly a decade, Becky worked as a consultant while building her photography practice on the side. But after a bucket-list trip to Antarctica with her father, she made a bold decision: to leave her 9-to-5 and embrace photography full-time. Aboard a cruise ship, she traveled from Iceland to Greenland to the Great Lakes, waking up in a new place each day and capturing the world through her lens.
It was during this time that Becky truly honed her instinct for visual storytelling, documenting everything from breathtaking landscapes to the quiet, intimate moments that make travel (and life) extraordinary.
Becky is deeply committed to creating inclusive, safe spaces for all of her clients and proudly supports the LGBTQ+ community.

Now based in Colorado, Becky’s photography continues to reflect the passion for creativity and connection that shaped her early years. With Filipino and Irish-American roots, and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, her approach to photography is influenced by her role as the observer of the blended communities she is a part of. On assignment, she’s always quietly noticing, listening, and looking for those fleeting moments worth remembering.
